The position is located in the Street/Park Unit, which consists of colleagues working with street and park operations, including a parking engineer, a couple of street engineers, a supervisor, and a unit manager. The unit belongs to the Technical Administration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a park engineer with us, you will work with the management and development of our public outdoor environments such as parks, plantings, playgrounds, urban forests, and green areas. The role includes planning, monitoring, and developing our operational assignments.

You will also participate in procurements and projects within the area of operation. The role involves close collaboration with both colleagues and external actors to create safe, sustainable, and well-designed environments.

An important part of the assignment is to develop and update the unit's operational maps and management systems to ensure good and efficient operations. The role also includes working with follow-up on feedback and error reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in the establishment, maintenance, planning, and/or management of outdoor environments. We prefer that you have relevant education for the position as a landscape engineer, or similar and/or equivalent competence that the employer assesses as comparable.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with GIS systems and/or operational maps or other relevant systems
• Experience from another similar operation
• Experience in the design of parks and green areas
• Experience in establishment and/or new production
